Geoffrey is a Bar Scholar. He was called to the Bar in 2018 and joined Chambers after serving pupillage with Mr. Chan Chi Hung SC, Mr. Randy Shek, Mr. Keith Lam and Mr. Jeffrey Tam.
During his pupillage and his practice, he has had a wide range of exposure in general civil and commercial litigation, as well as in public law, discrimination law, family law, land law and criminal law. He has had experience in both advisory and litigation work. He is developing a broad practice, and accepts instructions in all areas of law.
As a Rhodes Scholar, Geoffrey graduated from the University of Oxford with a Bachelor of Civil Law (Distinction) and a Master of Philosophy in Law (Distinction). His Master’s thesis was on the subject of discrimination laws. Prior to that, he studied at the University of Hong Kong, where he completed his Postgraduate Certificate of Laws, and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Law) (First Class Honours) as well as a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours). He was a recipient of various awards for his academic performance, including the Maxwell Law Prize and the Hong Kong Trustees Association Prize in Equity and Trusts.
Geoffrey speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
